PRIVATE HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

You will have been sent or made aware of where to find the terms and conditions applicable to all private hire at the time of your enquiry. If for any reason you have made a booking and are later unhappy with the terms and conditions, please contact us on 020 8690 1487 or email info@fourteen87.co.uk to discuss further.

 

Hire Fees & Payments

  • For exclusive use of the venue a hire fee will be payable.

  • Fourteen87 is always available for private hire subject to availability

  • Fourteen87 does not apply a minimum spend for exclusive use of the venue

  • In some instances, a damage deposit fee of £100 will be held until after the event.

  • No booking is confirmed until the hire fee deposit has been paid and a confirmation sent to confirm receipt.

  • Once deposit payment is made, please inform a member of our team in order for us to confirm receipt and the date confirmed as yours

  • Preferred payment would be via a same day electronic bank transfer. Please ensure you add your name as the reference. (Cash is also accepted)

  • Please check that your requested date is still available before making payment.

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel your private booking, please do so as soon as possible

  • If you cancel more than 1 months before your booking, your hire fee will be held in credit. 

  • If you cancel less than 1 months before your booking, your hire fee will be retained. However, in some cases with the option for your proposed event to be held on another date subject to availability.

  • If you make a booking less than a month in advance and then you cancel within this period, the above point will also apply.

Confirming Numbers

  • A member of our team will contact you closer to your event date in order to go through any final details etc.

  • Unless we are informed otherwise, we will take the numbers confirmed at the time of booking as the final numbers.

  • In case of any increases in numbers, please notify us at the earliest possible opportunity.

 

Food Pre-Orders

  • For private dining events a pre order will be required in advance as well as a £10 per head deposit to confirm the booking

  • Pre order to be submitted 10 days before event date

  • Bespoke menu can be designed to cater for your event at a separate cost from normal set menu

  • For Canapé style events; the full cost of the food will need to be paid in advance.

  • Menus are not interchangeable. Strictly one menu type to be selected per event, no mixing of menus is permitted

  • Outside catering is allowed on the premises; there will be a separate cost to use our kitchen. Please inform us well in advance about this so we can discuss requirements and cost for external catering.

 

 

Equipment/Entertainment

  • You are required to inform us upon confirmation of any equipment or entertainment that you intend to book for your event.

  • You can bring your own DJ. We can also help you in sourcing a DJ.

 

 

General Rules

  • You can decorate the venue with balloons. But please be aware that banners, table confetti & party poppers are not permitted.

  • Fourteen87 has a zero-tolerance drug policy and expects the highest standard of behaviour at all times. Anyone found in possession of drugs will be asked to leave and banned from the premises, this may also result in the event being terminated with immediate effect.

  • All drug contraventions will result in the loss of any deposits, hire fees and any other associated fees.

  • Please note that vaping pens and e-cigarettes are not permitted to be used inside the premises

  • Fourteen87 reminds you to drink responsibly and our bar staff reserve the right to refuse service at their discretion.

  • We kindly request you vacate the area at the agreed time or an additional fee may be charged. Please inform a member of our team well in advance if you plan on decorating the venue. All decorative items/equipment are your responsibility and must be removed prior to the end of your allotted time.

  • All relevant incidents will be reported to the police.

 

 

Damages

  • Fourteen87 reserves the right to charge a separate fee should any damage be caused to fixtures and fittings by any of your guests

  • Any losses or damages caused to Fourteen87 or its property will be the responsibility of the company or persons that have organised the event and acted as the head book

  • Please note that all incidents of damage will be reported to the police
